Creating World-Wide Change For Centuries

The Royal Pedigree

While the present incarnation of Mayflower Advising stems from Myles Standish, the 6th signor of the Mayflower Compact, and John Alden, the 7th signor of the Mayflower Compact, who landed in Plymouth in 1620, our history can be traced back to William the Conqueror in 1066 C.E., and King Charlemagne in 768 C.E. For many, the world would seem to be a different place, but we know that the principles that have driven societies, economies, and businesses have remained the same in that time.

The Pursuit Of Freedom

Seeing the opportunity to create new freedoms and new opportunities in the new world, our forbearers charted passage on the Mayflower to carry them to the new world. There, they brokered deals with the native tribes, established settlements, and began the slow work of building a country.

Interestingly, our current President, Dr. Bradford Carlton, was named after William Bradford, the governor of Plymouth colony, and he has five direct ancestors who were signing members of the Mayflower Compact.

The Fight For Freedom

When the thirteen colonies eventually declared their independence from England, Mayflower Advising had men at the ready to provide support to The Continental Army. In this way, the choice was made to side with freedom and declare with the rest of the United States that we stood for liberty and the pursuit of happiness.

And again, when brother turned on brother in the American Civil War, Mayflower Advising had men serve with the Union in order to further secure freedom and liberty.

Change-Makers

Not only have we touched the United States and world economies with our services through the years, but our roots are so deeply imbedded into the social make-up of US Politics that our heritage could be felt in Franklin Delano Roosevelt's life and administration, and our presence was well known during the 2016, 2020, and 2022 elections.
